Jordan Schnitzer discusses the Bybee Lakes Hope Center with Hot House host and author Patrick Howard. Mr. Schnitzer has been the prime mover in the development of this beautiful, state-of-the-art shelter for the homeless in Portland, Oregon. Bybee Lakes Hope Center's mission is to help solve the dual tragedies of drug addiction and homelessness. It requires long-term residents to seek treatment for their addiction. It has become a model for other communities facing these challenges. Until now, it has been completely funded by private donations, but is now seeking public funding to continue its important work.
